Mine was regassed and is leak free just doesn’t feel as icy as the e39 or e46. Think it might just be how they are?

Well for various reasons i had time on my hands today waiting on family. Rather the wander aimlessly i spent the time with some polish, yes i was in a car park, what of it!??! It comes up very nicely but of course you then see all the flaws 😞 I do like this car where as my 330d e46 touring never gelled with me. 🤷♂️

Never found mine noisy on michelin PS4 or Avon ZZ1 (think they were - very soft - wore quickly) or the winter Michelin Aplins - as Steve says wind noise can an issue on my 523i i had a maladjusted door catch which created cabin noise. Did Hertfordshire to south of france in a night once and tyre noise was not an issue! I was on 17's so assume you are on softer 16 or even 15s?

And normal service is resumed. Refurbed wheels fitted. Car needs a polish now.
